Senior Policy Analyst
Responsibilities
Christie's policy expertise includes working with national and local health care organizations to design and improve policies and procedures affecting individuals and providers with disabilities. As a Senior Policy Analyst, Christie conducts interviews, focus groups, site reviews, and training's to implement policies and procedure for the delivery of health care services to people with disabilities. Christie also serves as committee member on Western University's Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Christie's current projects include work with Washington Hospital Center (WHC), DC, Sutter Health Organization, California, and LA Care Health Plan, Los Angeles County. Christie’s prior work includes:
Kaiser Permanente of California (six years+) on a number of ADA related projects:
- Settlement Advisory Board Member
- Southern California surveyor - Accessible Medical Equipment (AME) project
- Policy analyst and co-trainer - statewide ADA policy and procedure project
- Statewide employee intranet Pharmacy communication access project.
Research consultation and expert panel participant on the Rehabilitation Engineering and Research Center (RERC) on Accessible Medical Instrumentation (AMI).www.rerc-ami.org

Christie served as Project Manager and Analyst for Berkeley Policy Associates (BPA), in Oakland, CA, a private social policy research consulting firm.
